To reference a member's custom field in memberstack, use the value found under their custom field's attribute.
I'm in the process of building out the follow/subscribe functionality now. Fun but challenging!
I'm at a point in the build where I have the two subscribe buttons side by side on the user profile. The first button, visible only to non-members, launches a modal prompting a new member signup, after which their email address is added to the profile owners email list. The second button looks identical but is for those who are members already and are already logged in. Upon instant form submission, a hidden, prefilled form with all of the logged in user's memberstack profile data is sent over to the referrer, building their list of contacts.
Works well so far.
The challenge I'm running into is that when the first subscribe form (memberstack signup) is filled out, I need for the second subscribe button (webflow hidden form) to not show up.
Two ideas:
If idea #1 is not possible, how about idea #2?
Granted, I am just getting into active campaign so my knowledge of it is limited, but hope the above helps!
Is that how you're thinking? Where are you stuck now?
Do you think it's possible to do the last part, where certain content is hidden based on if the content owner's member ID is present within another users memberstack metadata?
I read this on my desktop in more detail and I'm just not sure how this would be possible, since each webflow CMS collection only comes with one template. (Assuming your "USER" data is stored and showing from a webflow cms item, and not fed through from Memberstack).
The way I've been able to go around this is getting pretty good at designing and managing modals. One of my template pages has three whole modals on it with forms intended for different audiences. I foresee having to use Tabs in the future. What are the specific reasons you want to show the user data on a separate page?
Have you had any additional thoughts about this since making this post?
Happy New Year!
